CE - FAQ0017
Q: Is there a deadline for entering cases by?
A: The enhanced patient level data collected on MRSA bacteraemia and CDI for any given month is signed off by the Trust CEO by the 15th of the following month; data should therefore be entered by this sign off date. For example, data for May 2019 is signed off by June 15th 2019 and May 2019 data should be entered by June 15th 2019. Cases can be retrospectively entered for signed off months by contacting
mandatory.surveillance@phe.gov.uk
.
Aggregate data collection (Quarterly Mandatory Laboratory Returns [QMLRs]) is entered on a quarterly basis and data for each quarter (i.e. January-March, April-June etc) is automatically signed off six weeks after the end of the quarter.
