1. Monthly

UKHSA runs national surveillance programmes to collect data on HCAI, and reports Clostridioides difficile, Staphylococcus aureus and Gram-negative bacteria

National monthly tables and trends in meticillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), meticillin susceptible Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) and Gram-negative bacteraemia and Clostridioides difficile (C. difficile) infection.
2. Independent Sector

UKHSA runs national surveillance programmes to collect data on HCAI, and produces an annual epidemiological commentary on Clostridioides difficile, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella.spp. and Staphylococcus aureus for independent sector healthcare organisations;

Counts and rates of meticillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), meticillin susceptible Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA), Escherichia coli (E. coli), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa) and Klebsiella species (Klebsiella spp.) bacteraemia and Clostridioides difficile (C. difficile) infection reported by independent sector organisations, with accompanying commentary.

5. Mortality Report

An annual report presenting 30-day all-cause mortality following infection with healthcare-associated infections (HCAI).

MRSA, MSSA and Gram-negative bacteraemia and CDI: 30-day all-cause fatality
The number of infections, deaths and case fatality rate are presented nationally by year and further by NHS region, age, and gender by year.
