Q: How can I change my details on the HCAI Data Capture System?

A: Please note that the data capture system does not allow for accounts to be changed or swapped. Please re-register for a new account using your new nhs.net email address. Your local administrator will then be notified to authorise your account. Once authorised you will receive an email which will require you to verify your new email address (Note this email occasionally finds its way into the spam/junk mail and is only valid for 24 hrs). You will then be directed to a page to set-up your password security questions.

Q:The CEO of our NHS Trust is leaving. Can the new CEO use the current Sign off authority account? Please can you also provide guidance on what the CEO's responsibilites are?

A:The CMO letter of June 2007 explained that the CEO is responsibile for ensuring data is signed off correctly each month. Please find a link to the CEO Sign off User guide in the help and support box found on the bottom left hand side of the DCS screen. The new CEO may register for an account via the HCAI DCS homepage
